Electricity Curtailment

What is the best method for curtailing electrical load in your facility?  You could just turn off as much equipment as you can when you want to curtail, but wouldn’t it be better if you could DESIGN YOUR CURTAILMENT PLAN to take load off and bring it back on just the way you want, without cutting too deep and ensuring compliance with Demand Response targets and/or Peak Demand Targets.

The LCA Configurable Control Layer (CCL) provides the ability to design your curtailment strategy based on a wide variety of parameters, including DR and Peak Demand targets with control over the priority in which loads are curtailed and brought back online.   Additional control parameters include minimum on/off timers, lockout overrides and the ability to interface to third party Programmable Logic Controllers, Building Management or Automation Systems and ZigBee compatible devices.

The CCL gets real time data directly from your Utility Meter and measures facility electrical load on a minute by minute basis. This provides feedback and load reduction verification back into the system allowing it to efficiently curtail without over or under controlling the selected loads.
